Dr. Terrence Taylor is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner and joined North Texas Care Clinic in 2015 and has been in healthcare for nearly three decades. He has a wide range of clinical experience culminating in the acute care nurse practitioner role. He currently works in both inpatient and outpatient arenas. He has functioned in a solo nocturnist critical care intensivist role as well as a solo internal medicine nocturnist hospitalist role. Dr. Taylor has a strong passion for patient advocacy and infectious disease management, holding an HIV specialist certification from the American Academy of HIV Medicine. Dr. Taylor’s scholarly and published area of expertise is focused on “Quality Improvement and Patient Safety”. In addition to serving on the frontlines treating patients with both acute and chronic medical problems, he also serves as professor and program director for an online acute & critical care program for a university in the greater Boston, Massachusetts area. While he has a busy schedule and life, during his free time, he enjoys fishing or spending time with his friends and family.
